I know how stressful it can be to set up your own blog for the first time. I started on Blogger, and was googling things left and right to make my blog do what it wanted, even for just basic things.
I see other bloggers go through the same struggle and they don't have to. You could spend hours Googling for answers, getting overwhelmed with information, and then quitting because it is just too much. When I started my blog back in 2014, I started it on the Blogger platform. I was a sophomore in college, looking for a free platform to be able to share my writings and express my creativity. It was easy to get my blog up and running, to create a simple design, and create posts. However, as I started getting deeper into the blogging world, there were other things I wanted to do with my blog, like add certain functionalities, that I had to Google or search YouTube to be able to do.
In this course, I walk through designing my blog from scratch, to where it is now live on Creatively Lauren. I show you how to add the functionality that I currently have on my site, and include a worksheet with the exact code that I use for easy referencing.
